Concept

The Ikarus concept is as exceptional as the setting in which it is presented. Each month a different guest chef is welcomed to offer the most exquisite culinary delights and sophisticated menus in his very own personal style. Patron Witzigmann and Executive Chef Martin Klein invite the world’s top chefs to the Ikarus to transport their Hangar-7 clinetele on a delightful culinary voyage of discovery around the globe.

Eckart Witzigmann is the Chef of the Century and Martin Klein, is always keen to experiment with new ideas. It was quite clear right from the start what the result would be, should these two very different top chefs decide to put Red Bull boss Dietrich Mateschitz’s plan into action: a gastronomic tour de force, performed daily at the gourmet restaurant Ikarus.
