ECKART WITZIGMANN ROSE

Delicate pink blossoms bow down in front of the Chef of Century and exude a subtle fragrance. The rose named after Eckart Witzigmann is a true delicacy, with dark green foliage and a strong fragrance of rose, red berries and peach.

The rose radiates elegance with its tender pink petals arranged in a perfect circle. The shiny dark green leaves contrast the pink colour of the blossoms perfectly, which form loose clusters and has a vigorous bushy habit. It is as much a feast for the eyes as the delicacies of the chef of the century – the father of Nouvelle Cuisine – are a feast for the palate.

Eckart Witzigmann is the first German to whom a rose was dedicated by the breeder Delbard. The official rose naming took place on June 23, 2003 in Heinz Winkler’s Residence Hotel.
